ESTEMPORANEA in collaboration with the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio di Torino, for the first time in Italy, has brought to Conservatories and Theaters the expertise of the Clinique du Musicien in Paris, a unique example in the world of a structure dedicated to the treatment of professional illnesses of musicians.

Founded in 2003 by Dr. Andrè-François Arcier, Philippe Chamagne and his team formed by Isabelle Campion, Marc Papillon and Fabrice Julien, the Clinique du Musicien et de la Performance Musicale is one of the most important centers in the world for postural re-education of musicians. The clinic currently has six physiotherapists specialized in resetting the musician's performance with attention to every aspect of the problem. (www.cliniquedumusicien.com)

The sessions, held in the premises of the Teatro Regio di Torino, are individual and aimed at identifying the issues and incorrect postures that lead to contractures, pain, numbness up to stiffness with disabling consequences for the musician. Depending on their willingness, musicians can attend the sessions of colleagues who give their consent; this can be very useful for instruments of the same family.
