ESTEMPORANEA In a few words...
ESTEMPORANEA was created specifically to combine high musical professionalism with the joy of working, playing, and teaching together.
ESTEMPORANEA – Art, Music, Theater is a Turin-based company that is dedicated to organizing high-profile live performances: concerts, shows, readings, and special contaminations (Festival CONTAMINAZIONI & Music Improvement Courses (Frabosa Soprana), musical season SCENA 1312 (Bardonecchia), and numerous performances in Turin and its surroundings.
Over the years, ESTEMPORANEA has collaborated with the National Cinema Museum, the Philharmonic of the Teatro Regio, the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Unione Musicale, the Griffith Academy of Cinema and Television in Rome, as well as numerous Italian conservatories. It has a stable collaboration with the Accademia dei Folli through the realization of artistic, educational projects and the enhancement of activities in the peripheries. At an international level, it collaborates with the International Piano Festival and the Catholic University of Washington, the Zephyr Music Festival in San Francisco, and the Clinique du Musicien in Paris.
It regularly collaborates with musicians from the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Teatro Regio, and the best concert organizations in Italy. Alongside the realization and production of performances, ESTEMPORANEA is dedicated to young people through the educational-musical aspect, from literacy to professionalism, through annual courses, workshops, and masterclasses with highly qualified teachers in every field, including attention to children with disabilities. ESTEMPORANEA has always been attentive to the most vulnerable groups, particularly the younger ones: in 2020, it launched the crowdfunding campaign Sound for You, which continues to this day, raising over €50,000 over the years for scholarships for young musicians in difficulty. Since 2016, it has supported the adoption of Hamida, a girl from Malawi, maintaining her growth and studies, collaborating with Save the Children, Amnesty International, and dedicating itself, through the project Music Diffusa, to all children who, on their own, could not access music studies. It is supported by the CRC Foundation, CRT Foundation, Piedmont Region, City of Turin, Regional Council of Piedmont, as well as numerous private sponsors who support the humanitarian initiatives promoted.
Thanks to the musicians, friends, and colleagues who, with extraordinary enthusiasm and commitment, contribute to the realization of courses, concerts, and performances, participating with their professionalism and expertise in the growth of our ideas: because ambitious projects can only be realized if the optimal conditions exist in the surroundings. Without you, wonderful texts or perfect scores can be written. But everything would remain still, so thank you.
Thanks to all the students who have followed us over the years with the joy of making and sharing the music that characterizes youth: it is not so much what we offer you, but everything you teach us, pushing us to always do our best. Finally, thank you to all of you who keep an eye on us, giving us advice or making proposals, criticisms, and ideas... we absolutely need you!
