It is Olympe Pelissier, Rossini's second wife, who tells us anecdotes, curiosities, and behind the scenes of the opera and the composer: the long wait to be officially recognized as "wife," Rossini's food obsessions and dependencies, the troubled relationship with soprano Isabella Colbran, the musician's first wife. All this intertwines with the characters of the most famous opera in the world... with a surprise ending!
