Written in 1720, the Four Seasons have not aged in over 300 years. Each season immerses the listener in landscapes and moods, entering the heart of the elements of nature through Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter: an absolute masterpiece of chamber music.

Connecting the Seasons is the last imaginary letter that Vivaldi writes to his favorite pupil, Anna Maria del Violin, when alone in Vienna, he finds himself taking stock of his life, his career, and his quest for the Perfect Time.
