Stories of ordinary and extraordinary women.
Ginger Rogers
It has been and still is a long journey for women, arduous, adventurous, and sometimes scandalous. Stepping out of the boundary zone of the living room, they are forced to abandon traditional roles and completely reinvent themselves, often causing upheaval in the orderly male hierarchy. The women portrayed in this show expose themselves in the first person, speaking of their public and private battles, the contradictions and fears that have made them icons of an era they transformed. Together, we will enter behind the scenes of ordinary and extraordinary lives: Eleonora Duse, Rosa Parks, Marie Curie, Maria Montessori, Coco Chanel, Maria Callas up to Lady Diana and Malala Yousafzai.
They are portraits of unique women who have become reference points and examples of courage: each is depicted by musical pieces that best reflect them, as if they were tailored outfits designed to highlight all their uniqueness.
