A concert dedicated to the tenacity, grace, and courage of women around the world.

Often art precedes history, transcends conventions, and creates exceptional examples: in opera, women assert their right to freedom and equality, thanks to extraordinary composers and librettists (all men) who taught us the importance of the female figure and its characteristics.

Perhaps not everyone knows that until the 1700s there were no professional female singers: this is why high vocal roles were entrusted for many years to boys and castrati, who took on the female role in appearance and voice.
But it is from exceptions that changes begin: some women managed to carve out a space for themselves in these centuries, giving immortality to works like Carmen, Tosca, Traviata, and to the entire extraordinary repertoire that our country can boast of.
A demanding repertoire, both for the Argentine soprano Ivanna Speranza, endowed with an extraordinary voice and technique, and for the ESTEMPORANEA Ensemble, capable of bringing to the stage some of the
most famous and applauded opera pages in the world.
