ESTEMPORANEA has also chosen Frabosa Soprana this year as the setting for the Music Improvement Courses, which will take place from July 3 to July 30, 2023. Like every summer, the Masterclasses involve hundreds of very young musicians, all students who are professionally dedicated to music and who will have the opportunity to study with teachers from the most important symphonic institutions, such as Teatro Regio and Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale RAI, and Italian Conservatories.

This year, the Music Improvement Courses are enriched by a valuable and much-desired collaboration. To the initial three weeks, a fourth period is added with the participation of Zephyr International Chamber Music Festival, long-time friends and extraordinary musicians. Hundreds of students will attend singing, instrumental, chamber music, and orchestra classes led by nearly 30 teachers during the month of July.

During these four weeks, the students and teachers will stay at the splendid Hotel Excelsior in Frabosa Soprana, reserved entirely for them, and will hold lessons in numerous locations around the town. Each instrumental class will conclude the week with free admission concerts, “musical marathons” open to the entire local population.
