Lucia Caputo

Lucia Caputo started studying the violin at the age of four at the Suzuki School in Turin with Lee Robert Mosca. She graduated with honors from the Conservatorio di Torino under the guidance of Sergio Lamberto and continued her training with Ilya Grubert, Eliot Lawson, Lucia Hall, and Olivia Centurioni (baroque violin). She is currently perfecting her skills with Roberto Ranfaldi at the Accademia Perosi in Biella and with the Trio di Parma at the Accademia di Pinerolo.
She has performed as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles alongside important musicians in Italy and abroad as part of music festivals including the Lucerne Festival, the Piacenza Classica Festival, “Tea Time” (Avigliana), the international festival with Zephyr Ensemble (Cormayeur, Moneglia), the concert “Mercurio” of the OFT 2022/23 season, Musica al Tempio (Pinerolo), CelloArte (Pays de Gex), Musiktage am Rhein (Neuwied), MiTo, and the “Forme” season of the OFT.
She collaborates with various orchestras, including the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, LaFil, the Colibrì Ensemble, I Solisti di Pavia, the Teatro Regio di Torino, the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio, the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza, and the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana.
In 2024, she won the audition to be part of the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra, where she collaborated with some of the most important contemporary composers, such as Beat Furrer and George Benjamin.
