Elly Toyoda

A native of Osaka, Japan, Dr. Elly Toyoda is Visiting Assistant Professor of Violin and Coordinator of Strings at the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College. She has served faculty-artist for Yale School of Music's Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and Lecturer at Rutgers University. Toyoda is a recording artist for the Cantaloupe Music label and performs actively across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Toyoda studied at Oberlin Conservatory, Yale School of Music where she received the school’s Alumni Prize, and Rutgers University where she received the school’s highest honors in recognition of excellence in performance and scholarly research.
